Dr. Carol Forman Helerstein, Ph.D.

Dr. Carol is a licensed Clinical Nutritionist and has maintained a private practice on Long Island (New York) for over 25 years and has dedicated her professional career to helping people achieve higher levels of health through lifestyle changes and better nutrition. She has concentrated her efforts in the areas of Type II diabetes, weight loss, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, intestinal disorders, arthritis, and insomnia.

Her engaging lectures and presentations have been heard at corporate meetings through out the country, Bard College, Hofstra University, the Nassau County Police Department, and National Organization of Women (NOW). Her articles on health and nutrition have been featured in Glamour, Allure, New York, Long Island Entertainment and Lifestyle, USA Today, New Beauty, Woman’s Day, Teen Vogue, Shape and US magazines. Carol has appeared on ABC’s Nightline, ABC’s Eye Witness News, and the Geraldo Rivera show, Geraldo at Large, and has been heard on The Joey Reynolds, WOR Talk Radio Show and The Natalie Weinstein Talk Radio Show.

Most recently she has been interviewed for articles appearing in the Washington Post and Natural Health magazine. As a member of the American Association of Bariatric Physicians, an organization dedicated to the scientific study of weight management, Carol has helped her clients face the difficult challenge of weight loss. Dr. Carol’s goal has always been, and continues to be, to help people live healthy and better lives through applying the principles of proper nutrition
